Become a Volunteer

Join the Hands Across the Americas Volunteer Team.

We are always looking for volunteers to expand our Medical Mission team. In addition to medical professionals, we also need people who can teach patient education classes, serve as translators, escort patients, assist in the pharmacy, or help with logistics.

Medical Professionals: Physicians Assistants, Nurses, Technical Nurses, and Physicians who specialize in anesthesia, dentistry, podiatry, internal medicine, pediatrics, dermatology, urology, orthopedics, ophthalmology, ENT, OBGYN, entomology, and infectious diseases should contact: jdiamond@handsata.org who will put you in touch with one of our Medical Directors.

Please note that translators are available to assist at the mission sites so it is not necessary that you speak Spanish in order to participate.
